12 horas antes de cumplir 10 años en Vancouver nos fuimos. Y 1 dia antes hubo una despedida con gente de la oficina, en el lugar de costumbre, YBC. Tome demasiados shots de tequila malo (y no barato en Canada), asi que la ultima parte de la velada esta un poco nebulosa. Le tengo que agradecer a unas desconocidas almas caritativas que me empujaron a mi casa al final. A dichos, muchas gracias !
Pero lo mejor de la noche (y de los dias que le precedieron) fueron algunos muy agradables y sinceros comentarios que recibi de algunas personas. 2007 fue un año dificil en el trabajo para mi, pero al escuchar dichas palabras, en cierta forma me olvide de las partes dificiles. Me hizo sentir que valio la pena el dolor. Me senti mas motivado para dejar Vancouver y para eventualmente regresar.
Hubo un desafortunado par de casos de gente que se tomar el drink conmigo para unicamente mantener la relacion por razones de conveniencia... que mal, porque será exactamente lo que recibirar de vuelta....
12 hours before being 10 years in Vancouver we left. And 1 day before that, there was a going away party/drink session at the usual place, YBC.
I had too many bad tequila shots, so the last part of the evening is sketchy. I will have to thank some unknown souls to have pushed me home, Thanks !
But the best part of the evening (and the days before it) was some very nice and sincere words I got from some people. 2007 was a hard year for me at work, and listening to those words, made me forget about those hard points. In a way, that has made it all worth it. I felt more energized about leaving, and also motivated to come back to Vancouver.
There were the unfortunate couple of cases of people who had the drink with me to only service the relationshp for convenience.... well too bad, because that is exactly what they will be getting back from me.
